The image above is the Rosette Nebula in Monoceros (NGC 2244). This was taken using a Takahashi FCT-150 triplet flourite apochromatic refractor at f/5.0 and SBIG STL-11000M CCD camera. The image was taken at New Mexico Skies - a dark sky guest facility near Cloud Croft, New Mexico.
